I met Ryan for the first time back in April of this year when he began his lessons in Portlaoise. An American chap by birth, he was so easy to get on with and a very nice polite young man. I encouraged Ryan to do his double EDT Lessons in Tullamore and take the test there and he did. He completed all his EDT Lessons in July and then began the waiting game for the test. He purchased his own car which was a massive help with improving his driving skills and when Ryan contacted me a couple of weeks ago and said he had his test date, he very wisely opted to do the mock test and the pre test lesson. Today on his very 1st attempt, he passed the test with flying colours. I was so happy for him and his lovely fiancé Kate Mary Kelly who was there with him for support. Congratulations Ryan and best wishes. The full license is a nice Christmas present to get. Stay safe on our nations roads. Job well done.

"I had Ray for my driving instructor. To say he was instrumental in passing my test is a understatement. He was exceptional, very easy to organise the lessons with, very thorough and very easy going.

I first met Rebecca back in March this year. Over the course of the 12 EDT Lessons, we got on so well and had some great laughs along the way. She flew through her lessons and was very consistent. She applied for her first test in September, and was very unfortunate. However, she didn't let it get her down. She resumed her training and did more lessons in the run up to her next test and even did a few with my son David. We both agreed that she was now ready for her 2nd test and was delighted when she sent me the photo below along with the text to say she passed. Congratulations Rebecca. "Where do I start. I started my 12 Edt lessons with Ray. Was at first a nervous driver and can honestly say he took that out of me. I highly recommend Ray. He is professional at all times and gives so many tips and advice to help you move along with things you're struggling with. I did more lessons after my Edts and done a pretest with Ray and one with David. Unfortunately, I failed my first try at my full test. I let my nerves get the better of me so I carried on with my lessons with Ray after that and I'm glad I did, because I passed my test the second time round with his help. When I first met Samantha back in June, she had already completed her 12 EDT Lessons with another driving instructor and was getting ready for a test. When I did that first lesson with her, I told her the harsh truth that no student likes to hear, that she was nowhere near ready for a test. It's not something students want to listen to, especially after spending big money on EDT Lessons but Samantha decided to go ahead and do that first test back in August and unfortunately she lost out. However, she is a strong minded young lady and this did not deter her in any way in her efforts going forward, and she gave me 100% on every lesson we did. When she went for the test again today and we did the pre test lesson, I just knew she was ready this time and told her that it was hers to throw away. I first met Rachel way back in August 2018 when she began her EDT Lessons and did 3 of them. I never seen her after that until March of this year. She had been a very busy young lady and decided it was time to complete her remaining lessons and commit to doing the test as soon as possible and that is exactly what she did. Her driving was just getting better and better with each lesson, and she was following all the procedures needed to pass the test. She did a mock test with me and passed it, and then 24 hours later passed the real test on her very 1st attempt. Congratulations Rachel.
