"Learning Is A Treasure That Will Follow It's Owner Everywhere"
Gabriel began his lessons with me back in February this year. When I met him, he was already a good driver, but just had a lot of bad habits. He quickly adapted to the proper training techniques and his driving really began to take off and flew through the EDT programme with no problems. I felt very comfortable beside him and because of his good memory, I only needed to tell him things just once or twice, but never found myself having to repeat the same thing over. Gabriel did the pre test lesson with me today and in glorious sunshine went out and passed on his very 1st attempt. Congratulations Gabriel and best wishes going forward. As always, remember to stay safe on our nations roads and maintain those good driving habits. Driving is for whole life, not just a licence.

NO FEEDBACK FROM STUDENT
I first met Oskar way back in June 2022 when he began his EDT Lessons. From the very start, Oskar was very passionate about learning everything there was to know and doing things correctly. He put in a lot of effort and did a lot of practice in between lessons. He completed all his EDT Lessons in August and went to Poland to study and never came back until just recently when he got a test date. He opted to do a 2 hour refresher lesson, a mock test and pre test lesson package. I did the refresher lesson and the first part of the mock test with Oskar on Saturday and David did the marking and had him down for just 4 blues. This morning, Oskar passed his test on his very 1st attempt with only 3 blue marks. An excellent drive. Congratulations & well done. Both David & I wish you the very best of luck in your future driving. Stay safe on our nations roads.

Congratulations to Lauren on passing her Driving Test for the FIRST TIME in Tullamore!🥳🥳 Lauren came to Ray for Driving Lessons without any Driving Experience. After completing all of the EDT Lessons with Ray, she opted to do a Refresher Lesson, a Mock Test and a Pre-Test Lesson with David. Lauren only came away with 2 Blue marks. "I’m posting this review on behalf of my son. After failing his first test, (with a different instructor) I approached Ray & David for help. Initially started with Ray, but then due to college commitments moved to David for lessons on Sundays.
Improvements in my son’s driving were immediate. David has a lovely manner and can communicate corrections and advice very well. His easy demeanour inspires confidence in his students. David was very accommodating in our requests for lessons on Sundays and indeed the re-test times and pre-test lesson. My son passed his driving test today. 🤗 I was so impressed with David that I also got my daughter to take her lessons with him. She started from scratch and is currently on the waiting list for her test date. I whole heartedly would recommend both Ray and David of 1 ROCK SOLID DRIVING SCHOOL and/or ACE-1-STOP Driving School and would give them more than 5 stars if I could!!!"

I first met Donal back in October when he began his EDT Lessons. A very polite young man, Donal already had some driving experience but just with bad habits. He was very consistent with his lessons and did some practice along the way. Donal did the mock test with us and while I did the first part, David did the marking end. He was glad he did the mock test, because he failed it with us and he learned from it and as a result went out today and passed his test on the very 1st attempt. It was way back in March of 2019 when I first met Julie. A very nervous beginner but was willing to do what it took to learn how to drive for her family. She completed all her EDT Lessons with me and then another 8 lessons on top of that. I didn't hear from her until recently when she said she had finally booked a test and had been practicing all the good habits for the last 4 years in her everyday driving. I was scheduled to do a mock test with her and pre test lesson but due to a medical scare in the family, decided to cancel her test. However, the RSA told her she was giving less than 10 days notice and would lose her fee so she decided to go it alone as I was now booked out. She rang me to tell me the excellent news that she had passed 1st time. Congratulations Julie. I wish you every success for the future and remember your good habits always. I first met Rebecca way back in July 2015 and she started her EDT Lessons. She completed them by July 2016 and didn't hear from her until just recently when she contacted David and said that she had a test coming up but wanted to do the automatic and not the manual. David did 4 lessons with her and her driving was very good. She decided to do the mock test and while David did the first hour of preparing her, I did the marking end. It was great to see her again after all these years and it was nice that she returned to us and didn't go elsewhere. David did the pre test lesson with her today and she passed her test on the very 1st attempt with only 2 grade 2 marks. Orlaith began her EDT lessons back in July last year and had them all completed in September. She was very committed to learning throughout each lesson on her EDT journey. Her mind-set every lesson was what I feel made all the difference in how successful her driving and great habits has become.
She made a smart choice by doing a Mock Test with my Dad (Ray) the day before as it gave valuable feedback on where areas could be improved. Tristan began his EDT Lessons with me back in June 2022 and had them all completed by 29 July. The level of commitment from this young man was second to none. He threw himself into every lesson and got better and better as each one went by. When he finished his 12th lesson, I told him to immediately apply for his driving test and only today almost 5 months later did he get a date. Tristan, very wisely, did the mock test with me on Wednesday and flew through it. The fact that he maintained his good driving habits stood to him. David took him out on the pre test lesson today while I was on a school bus run, so I was delighted when David text me and said Tristan had passed the test on his very 1st attempt. "Hi my name is Tristan, and I have just passed my full driving test the first time around after doing all 12 EDT lessons, and the pre test lessons with 1 ROCK SOLID DRIVNG SCHOOL. I was lucky enough to have time with both instructors, and from my experience I got all the information needed to help me pass my test as both instructors know what they are talking about. Any questions you have, they will have an answer for, which is fantastic and was a great help to me coming up to my full test as I had a lot of questions. The lessons are fun aswell. It’s not like a teacher giving out to you and telling you what to do, it’s more like 2 friends, and your being taught how to drive by your mate. I would really recommend 1 ROCK SOLID to anyone I know who is looking to start lessons or even looking for new instructors, because they are just that good"
